with Zacchaeus Berwise and Friends

DivineRomance1

There is a work in us that we know we need to start or continue with in-line with the divine pattern.  Not under the law but according to the pattern shown to Moses in the mount.  I do not wish to carry my work to the cemetry where very many dreams are buried.  It is late so let’s arise, shine and give God the Glory.

Beloved is comparing ourselves to each other wise? Is doing our own thing inconsequential?  Can we make things up as we go along without rebuttal?  Do we love the world more than coming to the full knowledge of the truth and the transformation of all our perspectives. The Potter may be scorned by the thing formed but our hearts, minds and lives are precious temporal gifts.

The Story Behind
DivineRomance1

The last few years have been challenging even though many of us could see it coming.  Every last one of us has a mission a gift, a work and we really don’t like the idea that we will be found wanting but each of us has to put our past behind us and look to our long term future because we are finite.

Forthcoming episode

Augustine: man to Man (Professor David McIlroy)

Professor David McIlroy’s talk entitled ‘What’s the difference between a Pirate and an Emperor?’ is stimulating and can be found on DivineRomance1 YouTube channel.  Professor David McIlroy is Head of Chambers at Forum Chambers and specialises in banking & financial services law, commercial law, & professional negligence.  His combination of experience & insight enables him to identify persuasive arguments & to see where the law might be developed in the future.
Alongside his busy practice, David is Visiting Professor in Banking Law at Queen Mary University of London and at the University of Notre Dame (USA) in England.

Our Book of the month: The End of The Law: How Law’s Claims Relate to Law’s Aims is written by Professor David as is Christian Perspectives on Law – A Biblical View of Law & Justice.

We hope to have a further session with David McIlroy on DivineRomance1 Youtube Channel soon in which the Professor will breakdown this excellent book.

‘The End of Law – How Law’s Claims Relate to Law’s Aims’  is also our April 2023 book of the month.  We anticipate a an intriguing episode in which David will discuss this latter book.  Watch this space!
